🪐 PPlanetary Atmospheres & Space Science
I lead and contribute to research projects across Jupiter, Venus, Mars and Moon, combining spacecraft observations with numerical modeling of atmospheric chemistry, radiative transfer, and plasma–atmosphere interactions. I have been associated with NASA Juno mission as a scientific collaborator
Juno Mission — Jupiter’s Deep Atmosphere & Polar Aurora
- Analyzed Microwave Radiometer (MWR) observations to constrain deep atmospheric structure, alkali metal chemistry, and cloud formation
- Modeled thermochemical equilibrium, kinetics, and microwave radiative transfer to interpret Juno data
- Investigated polar auroral regions using Juno’s particle data to study high-energy electron precipitation
Venus Middle Atmosphere Chemistry
- Analysis of Venus Express SPICAV observations to understand thermal structure of upper atmosphere
- Global Circulation modeling of Venus focused on aerobraking operations
- Scientific analysis of archival radio science observations
Mars Submillimeter Occultation Concept Study
- Led a concept study for THz/submillimeter occultation to retrieve temperature, composition, and density profiles in the Martian atmosphere.
Technical Focus: Atmospheric Chemistry and Clouds Space Physics Microwave Remote Sensing C++/Python Radio Science
📡 Space Mission Design
Mars Small Satellite Constellation Concept
- Mentored Graduate level engineering students for small satellite based radio occultation constellation network for monitoring Martian atmosphere and ionosphere
Temporary Captured Object (TCO) Rendezvous Mission Concept
- Led a mission concept as a Project Scientist and Instrument Lead for TREX mission focused on small TCO around Earth, Cornell SmallSat Mission Design School
